A distinguished leader defined by dedication and a commitment to excellence, Ray Munger has forged a remarkable path spanning the United States Air Force, competitive athletics, and community-focused real estate. Originally from Wathena, Kansas, Ray is now a proud resident of Weston, Missouri, alongside his wife, Kara, and their two children, Anabelle and Rhett. He is a committed family man and an active member of his community. Ray brings a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on mentorship to every role. He began his decorated military career in 2006, enlisting in the United States Air Force as a C-130 Loadmaster. In the years since, he has become a master of his craft, accumulating over 3,500 flight hours and serving on multiple deployments in support of critical global missions, including Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. In 2019, Ray achieved a landmark accomplishment by graduating from the esteemed C-130 Loadmaster Advanced Instructor Course, a milestone that made him the first reserve component member to earn this prestigious qualification. Today, his leadership is pivotal in his role as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he shapes the future of advanced airlift operations. Parallel to his military service, Ray has cultivated a successful career in sports coaching. He is a 2018 graduate of the University of Saint Mary, where he earned a degree in Sport Management with an emphasis in Marketing. During his time as a Spire, he excelled first as a player on the football team and later as a valued member of the coaching staff. Ray continues to mentor young athletes today as the Defensive Coordinator for the West Platte Blue Jays in Weston, MO.
